Karagumi is a type of kumikata that has remained in Japan since the Asuka period.
There was a time when only nobles were allowed to use it, so it is an elegant braid.
"Shunju", one of Domyo's famous patterns, is a gorgeous and dignified obijime.
The colors of the two opposing systems are put together in a six-color halo, and gold thread is applied to give it a dignified appearance.
Size Length: Approx. 148cm Width: Approx. 1.6m Thickness: Approx. 2.5mm
Material: 100% silk, metal thread used
made in Japan
Domyo braids and obijime are hand-dyed and hand-assembled one by one, so there may be slight differences in color and braid.
In the case of danzome or gradation dyeing, the part that appears in the knot varies depending on the body shape and the thickness of the obi to be matched.
