The Heike Nokyo, created in the Heian period, is a collection of thirty-three scrolls of sutras dedicated to Itsukushima Shrine by Taira no Kiyomori, praying for the prosperity of the Heike clan.
The beautiful coloring of the facing part of the sutra scroll is expressed with Korai-gumi, which requires skill in both dyeing and assembling.

Domyo braids and obijime are hand-dyed and hand-assembled one by one, so there may be slight differences in color and braid.
In the case of danzome or gradation dyeing, the part that appears in the knot varies depending on the body shape and the thickness of the obi to be matched.
